Thankful!

I know a little late! But here are a few things I am thankful for:

1. A God who loves me and sent His Son to die for me. A God who is always there for me when it seemed no one else was. A God who loved me unconditionally when it seemed like no one else did or I felt unloveable! A God who will love me and someday will take me to be with Him forever.

2. My loving husband!!! Need I say more?!?

3. My baby love (aka Annika). :o)

4. My family: My parents (their SO) , my grandparents, my brothers and sisters, my in-laws (all of them....and there is alot)!!

5. Last but not least.....chocolate pie is always good too!!!

Christmas Hats for Babies....

I have been looking all over for a Christmas Hat for Annika (she doesn't have enough hair for a bow and she looks silly in a head band). I have found one online but of course it is not the right size. So my last resort was to go and buy a pattern and fabric and make the hat myself. I went to Wal-mart and bought a pattern which cost me about $6 and bought 1 yrd. of Velvet (to match her Christmas dress). This also cost me $6 and for an accent I bought some buttons that I payed $1 for. So altogether this hat will have cost me about $13. Did I mention the Christmas dress was free....figure that out!!! :o)

I will post a picture when I get it done...hopefully I will get it done! :o)

Beware: The Baby Bug

This is a warning about the baby bug. It can come at anytime (morning, noon, or night). It will bite at any place. They are everywhere! They will bite anyone (man, women, child). BEWARE!!!

Okay so now that Annika is 8 months old (and the fact that there are 4 around her age and another one due at our church) everyone has asked, "have you got bit by the baby bug yet?" Well to answer it honestly.....NOPE! I have not, I am content with my one and only baby love (a.k.a. Annika). I am in no need of another so little. This is not to say we will not have any more. I am just not wanting another one soon.

So I say to the baby bug...stay away and don't bite me yet, I'm not ready, do not bite anyone I know (mainly my husband either...I'm not ready)!

Pre-Annika Memories....

I was looking at some pictures (pre-Annika) and was I really that big?!?!? AHHHHH!!!

The 1st ones not too bad, it was taken Jan. 20th. Not looking too bad....

This was a month later....how did I get so big in such a short time?!?!?! YUCK! Feb. 22nd

I had Annika March 6th.

And today.....


Okay I'm really not going to post a pic of me for two reasons.
a) I don't want to and....
b) I don't have any recent ones

But I am proud to say, I'm back to my pre-Annika weight (and loosing more).


What I miss about those pre-Annika days....

1. Sleeping (not sleeping in...just plain sleeping).
2. Being able to run a mile!!
3. Quietness (no high pitch screaming)
4. No toy store in my living room, bathroom, my bed, spare room, cars, ect.

5. Non-Wrinkled Magazines...
But I wouldn't trade her for the world!!!!

My first rambling....

Okay, So why did I start this blog?

1. To tap into my creative writing side? No, I don't think so.

2. To share my wisdom with others? No, I don't think so.

3. To tell the world how great I am? No, I don't think so.

So why did I start this blog?

To share my random ramblings? Yes, I think so!
