A New Cloth Diaper Pattern
Here's some pics...the best part the fabric if flannel from a pillowcase I purchased at a thrift store for 25 cents and the fleece was pretty much free. These are the only two layers in the diaper so it will dry fast in the dryer (also a good thing)! You can add an extra insert if you need it otherwise just use it as is.
I almost forgot it's called a QSFW (quick snap flap wrap) however we don't use snaps here (I use Velcro instead).

What's for Supper: With RECIPES!!!
My husband is a HUGE fan of swiss and mushroom burgers. And I told him I would write how proud I was that he let me take a picture of his food before he ate! :)
Olga's Kitchen Bread
1 cup milk
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup margarine
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 teaspoons (1 package) active dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
4 cups all-purpose flour, divided
1 egg
Scald milk, remove to large bowl. Add honey, margarine and salt to milk; stir until margarine is melted. Set aside to cool until lukewarm.
Combine yeast, warm water and sugar; stir until sugar is dissolved. Set aside.
Add 1 1/2 cups of the flour to lukewarm milk mixture and beat well. Mix in egg and yeast mixture. Add remaining flour, a little at a time, until sticky dough is formed. Turn out on a floured surface; knead about two minutes. Dough will be sticky, but don’t add more flour. Place dough in oiled bowl, turning once to oil whole surface of dough. Cover with plastic wrap and let stand in warm place until doubled in bulk.
Punch down dough; divide into 16 equal pieces. Roll each piece to a thin rough circle about 8-10 inches in diameter.
Heat a large dry skillet over medium-high heat; do not use any oil. Bake 15 seconds, flip and bake about 10 seconds on other side, until mottled brown spots appear. Cool and store in a plastic bag.
Makes 16.
Cut fries and deep fry (as you would regular fries). Then put them in a 9x9 square glass dish spinkle with season salt Add some shredded cheddar cheese on top. And if you feel so inclined fry up some bacon and crumble that on top!

Banana Pumpkin Bread

I got this recipe from a friend and it is SUPER YUMMY!!!! I would of never thought that bananas and pumpkin would go together but it is really good!
Banana Pumpkin Bread:
3 c. Sugar
1/2 c. Oil
4 lg. Eggs
2 1/2 c. Mashed Bananas (very Ripe)
1 1/2 c. Solid Pumpkin (14 oz can)
2 tsp. Vanilla
3 1/2 c. Flour
2 tsp. Baking Soda
4 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Salt
1 c. Chopped walnuts or pecans
Steusel Topping (Optional - see below)
Directions: Preheat Oven to 350 degrees. Grease and Flour two 9x5 loaf pans. Mix sugar and oil in mixing bowl. beat in eggs, bananas, pumpkin, and vanilla. in separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, nuts (if desired). Build a "well" in the flour mixture - push flour mixture to sides of mixing bowl. Pour pumpkin/banana mixture into center of well, stirr with a spoon until moisted. Do not over mix-dough may look a little lumpy. Sprinkle struesel on top - or you may just prinkle nuts on top - or leave it plain. Bake in preheated over for 1 hour, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Check bread at 50 - 55 minutes, if turning dark golden, cover loosely with foil.
* Or makes 24 muffins. Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees
Streusel Topping (Optional)
1/4 c. Packed Brown Sugar
3 Tbsp. Flour
2 Tbsp. Butter (not melted)
Directions: In small bowl, mix brown sugar and flour. With a fork or pastry blender, mix in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle on top of dough before baking.
**NOTE: Because I like chocolate soooo much. I added some chocolate chips into one of the loaves and did the streusel topping on the other one.
