MmMmMmmm....who doesn't like sticky buns?!?!
Here's simple recipe...using the microwave
3 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. Brown Sugar
1 tbsp. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 can refrigerator biscuits (these can be bought cheap at aldis)
Optional: 1/2 c. chopped nuts (I don't like nuts so we don't use them)
In 8 inch round glass dish combine: butter, sugar, water and cinnamon. Cook on high in microwave for 1 minute. Stir as soon as butter is melted. Stir in nuts. Separate biscuits. Cut each into quarters. Place into sugar mixture. Stir carefully to coat each piece. Push biscuits to outside of dish and place a custard dish in center upside down. Cook on high 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. Remove custard dish and let stand 2 minutes before pulling sections apart.
Yields: six servings.
Tip: dump sticky buns onto a serving platter, put round plate over buns upside down then turn over. Remove custard dish afterwards.
Instead of using two different "bowls" we use one of those pans (similar to an angel food but microwaveable) with the spout that comes up the top (sorry for not knowing exact name). :)
We are not huge breakfast eaters here, but this is one recipe we make at least once a week.

OOOOHHH, I love sticky buns! And anything that uses the microwave is my kind of recipe. :-)
Isn't it crazy to think that our babies are a year already?! Sad....
